Mahtava keskusteluketju. Nimimerkki notigo kysäisi aiemmin tänään turhautuneena Reddit-linkkipalvelussa:

Every day something new and terrifying happens in the United States. To make a long story short, I no longer wish to live in this country. Although I do not have the means to leave yet, I plan to when I am able. Where should I go?

Ja mitä vastauksia on alkanutkaan sataa. Upeaa luettavaa. Yhtä mielenkiintoista kuin Wikipedian artikkelien editiointihistoriat. Ja heti kärkeen Suomi on listoilla ja vielä revontulien takia. Tosin heti perään joku “petteri” pettää Suomen ja äänestää Ruotsia heidän multikulttuurisen ilmapiirinsä vuoksi.

Kerrankin kansalaiset avautuvat kunnolla. Näin eräs tanskalainen:

Nimimerkki mg_gecko on ilahduttavasti samaa mieltä kanssani. Hän toteaa:

Singapore is like living in a giant shopping mall. Go to Malaysia, it has more culture and interesting things.

Jotkut ironisoivat:

Yeah, I hate it here in NZ, what with the chilled out lifestyle, the incredible unspoiled scenery, the comparitively insignificant crime problem. It’s too small and too far away for anyone to really threaten either… It’s just so boring….

Ja kuten aina, jotkut paasaavat:

…Good luck and maybe someday you’ll realize the American Dream isn’t some iron clad utopia, but a chance, a sliver of hope that if you want to make changes, you can. You’ll have to fight for it, and there will be many obstacles put in your way, but with determination and luck you can change the path of an entire nation. It has been done before and it will be done again. I’d rather have you alongside me than reading about it in the paper 5,000 kilometers away, but that’s your choice.
